There's a new message board, or "forum" as some people call them, that is determined to help the DFW metroplex homeowner make his home and life more "green"!
DFWGREENSCENE.COM is the newest board to take shape locally (actually, maybe the ONLY one) and encourage homeowners to share ideas and projects online. The site currently has no advertising to mess with, although that most likely will change in the upcoming months, but will be limited to "Green Companies" who offer products and services to assist homeowners.
Since the site is so new, there's lots of room for would be "experts" to post their local take on all things green, from home efficiency measures, to Green Living, to Green Events in the area.
As a person who habitually visits so-called "Green Boards", I can't tell you how excited I am to see this site launch. Most of the sites in existence currently focus on national or worldwide issues, some of which don't apply to our climate zone here in North Texas. This should solve that problem.
I can't wait to see everyone's comments and suggestions on DFWGREENSCENE.COM. Check it out and visit regularly!
